Bernard B. Pound, an attorney with more than 20 years of experience, started this firm in late 2016.  His prior experience included 18+ years managing litigations at an AmLaw 200 intellectual property boutique, taking more than 30 cases to trial including dozens of preliminary injunction, summary judgment, Markman and post-trial hearings.

As Litigation Case Manager:
  • Led “Stent Wars” litigation team in 10+ year-long global series of cases involving every major player in coronary stent market.
  • Headed up team that defended consolidated Hatch-Waxman challenges to client’s blockbuster MS drug from complaint through Supreme Court appeal.
  • Coordinated defense against non-practicing entity’s 24-patent, 7-suit challenge to automaker’s safety systems, including successful mandamus petition transferring case from E.D. Tex. to E.D. Mich., 100% success in inter partes review at PTAB resulting in dismissal of all claims with prejudice.
  • Managed 39-day $1.2B Lanham Act false advertising trial involving x-ray contrast media.
